Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the chickpea flour, baking powder, salt, and any spices of your choice. Gradually add water or plant-based milk while whisking to create a smooth batter. Stir in the oil for extra moisture.
  • Allow the batter to sit for about 5–10 minutes to let the chickpea flour absorb the liquid, which improves the texture.
  • Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with oil. Pour ¼ cup of batter into the pan, spreading it slightly. Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.
